The Diana Mini is a 35mm toy camera that shoots half frames and squares. We love the flexibility in shooting half frames or squares. The Diana Mini can turn a roll of 36 shots into 72, but sometimes we get too impatient and we can’t wait that long. It has a wide angle lens, it can take long exposures, and you can overlap pictures as well.
It’s a fun toy camera and you have to keep that in mind. It won’t always give you perfect pictures, but it will definitely surprise you.
Here are just a few shots from the Diana Mini.

Experimenting with double exposures.

We really love using the Olympus XA when we’re not using our digital cameras. I first found out about the Olympus XA online as THE travel camera for professional photographers. So I found 2 on Craigslist for an amazing deal. They were manufactured from 1975-1985.
This is the film camera to bring along with you when you don’t want to lug an SLR. It’s pocketable, rugged, and has amazing optics. It’s 35mm wide and has a sharp 2.8 lens. It is a great street camera. It has rangefinder focusing, aperture priority, and a great +1.5 backlight compensation lever that comes in extremely handy for someone like me that likes to shoot overexposed. I also love the little removeable flash it comes with!

We recently added a new addition to our growing camera collection. Introducing the Fujifilm Instax Mini 25!!! It is a great little camera. It’s very portable and the images that come from it are great! They are sharp, colorful, and are the same size as a credit card! And the film isn’t too expensive either.
This Instax Mini is a step up from the 7s model. It has a few more functions, such as a self-shoot mirror (works great btw), close up focusing lens, and it has a 2 shutter design for when you want to shoot landscape or portrait. One little thing we don’t like is that you can’t turn off the flash, but we still love it. It’s very versatile and so much fun to use! It’s definitely a great alternative to Polaroid.

We used it on our engagement shoot with Petrel+Jacob!
